Resurrection of Eve
Resurrection of Eve
A lovely soulful intro leads us to a striking opening scene where young Candy is seduced by her mother’s boyfriend. In this powerful, taboo-breaking scene the ugly old sailor shows her what to do by demonstrating on her dolly, until he finally convinces her.
The girl grows up promiscuous, to become the disposable girlfriend of Frank Paradise, a famous D.J. Although he is a womanizer, this guy wants a gentle, loving virginal type in his bed. He falls in love with sweet Eve.
Bitter, Candy plants the suggestion in Frank’s head that his sweet girlie has a secret kink for black men. Inflamed with jealously, Frank can’t get the idea out of his mind and even accuses her. Marrying her does not ease his jealousy, in fact, it makes him miss his womanizing. So he convinces Eve to become a swinger.
At first she doesn’t like it, but by the 3rd party she’s really getting into the swing of things. The film has an astounding five orgy scenes. The fifth orgy has the most kink and also sees Eve heading straight for Johnny Keys, the black boxer that Frank had falsely accused her of having an affair with in the first place.
The story winds in some unusual twists, but never looses credibility. The erotic tension throughout is exceptionally strong and the film takes you into swinging life in the early 70’s. Some truly great moments and Marilyn Chambers is outstanding. The moral of the story is very much: be careful what you wish for. Finally, Frank wants everything to go back to innocent, which of course is now impossible.
